Your FRGMNT° pendant is a real iron meteorite, older than the Earth. It survived space and a fall through our atmosphere, and with little care it’ll easily outlast you too. But it’s iron, and iron can rust.

The Meteorite

Keep it dry. Take it off before you shower or swim. If it must get wet, just avoid prolonged soaking. Wipe it with a dry cloth only. Skip cleaning with water, soap, chemicals perfume, or lotion since those speed up rust.

A little surface patina is normal and a lot of people like it.

The Hemp cord

Natural hemp is strong but it soaks up moisture. Sweat, water, and humidity will break down the fibers over time and make the cord rough or stiff. Take it off before swimming, showering, or working out. Let it air out if it gets damp.

Replacement adjustable hemp cord is available for purchase if you ever need it.
